Grain Drying

THE DRYAIR GRAIN DRYING SYSTEM

A SOLID SOLUTION TO TIME MANAGEMENT AND PROFIT

In business there are basically two ways to make money, either by increasing income or by reducing expenses.  A DryAir grain drying system increases farm profits from the benefits gained on both ends of the spectrum. In addition to increased profitability, a DryAir grain drying system can save your farm time by reducing labour requirements and increasing the length of the harvest period.

DRYAIR’S CENTRAL HEATING UNIT – THE CORNERSTONE OF NATURAL GRAIN DRYING

The DryAir grain drying system uses a highly efficient hydronic Central Heating Unit, which is the cornerstone that this natural grain drying platform is built upon. The single Central Heating Unit distributes heated fluid to the portable heat coils (frequently 4 to 6 coils per system).  Heat is then transferred into intake air as it drawn through the heat coil by the aeration fan

EXPANDING THE CAPABILITY

DryAir grain drying systems are an excellent fit for the largest grain drying operations as well as any agricultural application where drying is required.

Large DryAir Grain Drying Configuration

Bridgeview Farms – Gerald, SK

Storage Facility

Grain is circulated in and out of drying hopper bins with a chain conveyor system

DryAir Central Heating Units

4 Million Btu DryAir CHUs provide efficient and dry hydronic heat.

Extra-Large Heat Coils

Extra-large heat coils safely produce the dry heated air for the drying bin, with no risk of fire!

Premier Horticulture Ltd. Carrot River Division – Sask. Peat Moss Division

Climate control application – temperature & humidity control. Permanent installation
SAFE MOISTURE REMOVAL IN A COMMERCIAL PROCESSING APPLICATION

The DryAir system also lends itself equally well to safe moisture removal in commercial processing applications.  At Tisdale Alfalfa Dehy Ltd, a DryAir system successfully dries the finished alfalfa pellets to the targeted 9 to 10% moisture levels when less than perfect drying weather is not present.  The DryAir system dries 7 to 8 Metric tonnes of high-quality product per hour with absolutely no risk of fire.  This has allowed the dehydration plant to supply a consistent year-round supply of product to the marketplace with an acceptable profit margin.
